Two Wabasha County 4-H project bowl teams competed at the State Dairy Project Bowl meet on April 11th in Sauk Rapids.
The junior team with only 3 members finished 5th with one win vs Stearns and losses in close matches to the eventual 2nd place team from Goodhue and 1st place McLeod team.
The intermediate team had a busy day ending with a 5-1 record. After a loss to Stearns/Sherburne; the team needed wins from then on in the double elimination bracket. The team was fired up after a win vs McLeod and then two wins vs Stearns/Sherburne to claim 1st place.
