Cleanup Day is coming up. The City has scheduled Cleanup Day for Saturday, May 9, 2026. The event begins at 9:00 and goes to 11:00. There is time to look around your property and make choices to get rid of items that are lying about and drawing unwanted interest from neighbors, passers-by and from us at the City. We encourage you to get rid of old appliances, used tires, and other items we take at cleanup. We will send a list in a future water-sewer utility billing. It is a great time to jump start property clean up. There are many salvage companies that will pick up your non-running vehicles. The City respects your property rights, but also has ordinances designed to keep peace among neighbors. Very few people want to live next to a property that looks like a salvage yard or parking lot. The City encourages you to start with Cleanup Day and use that momentum to remedy the nuisance items you may have on your property.
