Youth from Mazeppa UMC attended their fourth consecutive mission trip to STORM (Service to Others in Relational Ministry) Camp, July 13-17. Pictured are Colton Nelson and Ariel Nelson, children of Michael and Tracey Nelson of Mazeppa.
Colton and Ariel joined 34 other teens and 2 dozen adult volunteers at Holy Trinity UMC at Prior Lake. While there, the teens were divided into seven teams who then completed over 30 jobs in 3 days. Jobs included weeding, tree trimming, brush hauling, and painting.
Work and worship are the focus of the STORM Camps which have been in mission in Minnesota since 1991. This year's theme was "Christ is our Firm Foundation."
