A Monthly Moment at MotoProz

When my brother (Corey) and I were kids, our dad bought a brand new Honda Passport (yellow scooter with a brown seat and a white basket in front). When we got it, we were so small, all three of us could ride up to grandma’s house about a half mile away. As we grew up, I remember driving it on my own. I think Dad sold it when Corey was getting old enough to drive. A few weeks ago, my brother found one on the internet for sale. I showed my husband and son the picture. Monty immediately wanted to buy me one. I looked closer and said, “It doesn’t have a brown seat; I can’t have that one”! Monty kept looking and found one in Mantorville with a nice brown seat, minus the white basket. Mike bought it for me, and Monty went to pick it up. I showed a picture to my best friend, and I don’t know which one of us was more excited. We don’t even have one picture of that old scooter from our childhood, but my brother, my friend and I all remember exactly how it looked! Monty brought it back to MotoProz for a tune-up, to install some mirrors, and get the missing white basket for the front.
